SHORT CLASSES
(10:00-13:00 AND 14:00-18:00)
You can make a copy of an ancient mosaic or create a mosaic of your own design, cemented directly onto a substrate.
You'll participate in every phase of the creation of your piece, beginning with the cutting of material into small pieces (tessere) using traditional tools (the hardie and the hammer).
You can choose between marble, glass (smalti) and/or gold tessere according to your design.
COST
The total cost of the course is € 250,00 per person.

DURATION
The total duration of the course is 7 hours with lessons in these hours 10:00-13:00 and 14:00-18:00.
GOAL

You'll participate in every phase of the creation of your piece (except for the cutting of material into small pieces using traditional tools, the hardie and the hammer, however you will see a cutting demonstration). You can choose between marble, glass (smalti) and/or gold tessere, depending on which design you have chosen to copy.
