Direct method: mosaic poies are usually carried out in the double reverse method of application which makes possible a slow and accurate execution.
From tesserae cutting to the creation of roman’s, byzantine’s, medieval copies passing through all necessary phases.
The materials which have been used in mosaic art, from antiquity down to modern times are subdivided into two groups: stone marble and glass called “smalti” (opaque glass paste) and gold.
COST
The total cost of the course is € 730
DURATION
The total duration of the course is 40 hours with lessons from Monday to Friday (h 9.00 - 13.00, 14.00 - 18.00)
GOAL
The goal will be to create two mosaics, one of about 12x16 inches and the other one 10x14 inches.
