This work was born from the project "Verde Sospeso" by designer Francesca Lanzavecchia, presented at the Biennale of Contemporary Mosaic 2023 of Ravenna.

The pattern chosen by Francesca for her vases is a reinterpretation of the bark of the Australian Rainbow Eucalyptus tree.

To best interpret the exfoliation process of this tree's multicolored bark and transform it into a mosaic, Arianna Gallo used a new mosaic technique, which she has called “Contemporary Opus Signinum”.
