Ufo Robot Goldrake by Arianna Gallo created for Sotto il cielo del Drago d'Oro: tribute to Goldrake for his 40 years in Italy, curated by Marco Del Bene and Felice Nittolo, niArt gallery, Ravenna.

Exhibition held during the 2018 Ottobre Giapponese Festival, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the broadcast, on Rai networks, of the first Japanese robotic animation series, Goldrake Atlas Ufo Robot, in the original Grendaizer, with original Japanese objects, toys and artistic re-interpretations of the theme, from Italy and the world.

Direct technique on cement mortar.

Wooden base, colored and painted cement mortar, lead for the outlines of the figure,
fluorescent material for the eyes and shoulders, stained glass, gold tesserae, marble and hand-cut smalti with the use of ancient tools, hammer and hardie.

Smalti from Orsoni, the historical Venetian furnace that uses the same techniques since 1888 to produce 24K gold leaf mosaics, colored gold and Venetian smalti.
