Artwork created by Arianna Gallo on the occasion of the VII Biennial of Contemporary Mosaic for the exhibition LA COMMEDIA IN BOTTEGA – BEATRICE RACCONTA DANTE at the Biblioteca Oriani, Ravenna.

The exhibition was the last act of the project dedicated to the Divine Comedy which featured the mosaic artists associated with CNA, who narrated and interpreted the work of Dante Alighieri through mosaic.

For the occasion, the entire trilogy begun in 2017 and completed with artworks like this inspired by Inferno was exhibited.

Direct technique on cement mortar.

Wooden base, cement mortar, grey murrine, crochet lace, self-levelling, marble tiles cut by hand using ancient tools, the hammer and the hardie.
