Handcrafted by Koko Mosaico using Ravenna's technique, direct method on lime.

The base is wooden, precious marble cut by hand using ancient mosaic tools: the hammer and the hardie.

The handmade frame is crafted from cement mortar and painted with acrylics.

The mosaic is meticulously grouted and has been hand-smoothed.

This detail represents a beautiful Solomon's knot.
