Wooden frame painted with acrylics, cement mortar, smalti tesserae cut by hand with the use of the ancient mosaic tools, hammer and hardie, self-levelling background.

Smalti from Orsoni, the historical Venetian furnace that uses the same techniques since 1888 to produce 24K gold leaf mosaics, coloured gold and Venetian smalti.

This detail represents one of the many ducklings that can be admired in the vault of the St. Andrew Chapel situated inside the Archiepiscopal Museum of Ravenna.
