Courses will be able to do copies from ancient roman floors mosaic in opus vermiculatum, the most refined mosaico, whit tiny tesserae (from 1 to 4 mm).
This is a particolar kind of mosaic with polychrome tesserae, variegated, multicoloured and fine, complex and refined drawing.

GOAL

The goal will be to create a mosaic of about 6x6 inches.

In this course you will create a mosaic of your own design, translating your drawing, painting or photograph into a mosaic—or perhaps creating a three dimensional mosaic sculpture.
You and the staff will decide together the most suitable technique for your project.
