We had the great opportunity to collaborate with Olimpia Zagnoli for her wonderful project “Dance of the Bufo Bufo”. This is the title of the mosaics created for Casa Maer in Lavenone, one of the Italian villages which Airbnb is promoting to support local communities outside Italy’s major cities.
Olimpia Zagnoli was inspired by Bufo Bufo female frogs who carry their partners on the back and descend into the woods to lay their eggs on the shores of the nearby lake. During that time local kids run toad patrols carrying the amphibians across roads in buckets to help them.
